As an independent author, one of the biggest challenges wasn't writing this book; it was finding the best way to get it into readers' hands around the world.
Because this is a large, full-colour hardcover book, international shipping can be expensive. In some cases, sending a single copy overseas would cost almost as much as the book itself! Rather than passing those costs on to readers, I decided to create separate distribution arrangements for different regions.
European Edition
Orders from European countries are supplied from the original print run. These books are dispatched directly from our stock based in The Netherlands. Shipping costs are calculated automatically during checkout based on your destination, that you select from the righthand top corner. The hardcover book features 216 pages in full colour, printed on 4/4 fc 150 gsm Magna Satin coated paper, a wood-free, semi-gloss coated paper. It is bright white and has a pleasant, refined appearance. It features over 60 images of George Michael, including those licensed by renowned photographer Brian Aris. Brian very generously agreed to license these photographs for this project on the condition that they remain exclusive to this limited first edition.

United Kingdom Edition
Following Brexit, shipping books individually from the European Union to the UK involves additional customs procedures and higher postal costs. To avoid unnecessary delays and extra charges for readers, part of the first print run has been shipped to a UK fulfilment centre. UK orders are dispatched locally via Royal Mail, with postage calculated automatically during checkout once you select 'UK' from the righthand top corner. Prices will be shown in GBP.

International Edition (Print on Demand)
For readers outside Europe and the United Kingdom, I am currently preparing a Print on Demand edition to avoid high shipping costs. My priority is to ensure that the production quality matches the original book as closely as possible before making it available.
There is one important difference. Several photographs by photographer Brian Aris appear in the first print run under a special licensing agreement. As a result, the Print on Demand edition will include carefully selected replacement photographs in place of those licensed images. The text, research and content of the book remain exactly the same. Only a small number of photographs will differ.

Which edition should I choose?
Make sure you select your region from the righthand top corner. If you live in Europe or the United Kingdom, you will automatically receive the edition intended for your region.
If you live elsewhere in the world, the Print on Demand edition will become available as soon as I am satisfied that it meets the same production standards as the original release. More information will follow shortly. Whichever edition you receive, my hope is that you'll discover George Michael's songs in a completely new way, and enjoy the journey behind the music.
